| Abstract: | The Earl F. Aldon Collection documents his scientific research with the U.S. Forest Service, primarily in the south and southwest region of the Colorado Plateau. Of particular interest is his research in the area of watershed and mines. The strength of the collection lies in Aldon’s writings. These files contain the final product as well as drafts, notes and correspondence with colleagues and co-authors. Also of great interest are the research files. Although not as extensive as the Writings of Aldon series, they contain raw data related to several mines in Four Corners area. | ||
